Psalm 34:11
Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Did You know that God does not always mean
be scared of Him when He says 'fear'? Most of the
time when God says 'fear' of Him like in this Bible
verse He means He wants you to know Him so you won't
fear Him so much. So that you'll be able to trust Him
to obey Him, ask Him for your needsand those of your
family, your friends, your teachers, whomever is
important to you or you care about.
God is happy to know His kids that He has made and He
is even happier when you want to know Him.
Why? Because God loves you so much that even in
The Bible he told the entire world you are His.
Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are Gods; and all of you are
children of the most High.
Parents and other adults you were kids once. Did you know that to God you still are always will
be no matter what you do or have done or even not done? That in age you can never catch up to God
so not only in God's thoughts but in His sight you are always kids and like little kids to Him.
Serious Talk
For Parents, Relatives, Friends, Bosses, others.
The Following page contains recommendations, information, opinion of the site holder, that's me,
on issues of growing kids. My opinion in any is my own but my opinion is not something I would
not do in the way I've stated it for myself, for a parent of mine, for brothers or sisters,
neices and nephews, my friends or my bosses. Even for my enemies and the unsaved I try to do as
I have opinioned and advise anyone who needs or would ask me.
My reason being they might be saved one day and I do not think Jesus would want them to look
back and say I was lying in my advise or actions I had showed them and maybe they had followed.
NOTE:Some people even parents are not comfortable with the subject of growing up it
including dating, getting married and sex. If you feel these subjects will bother you please do not
click through and read. I have tried to be honest even on difficult subjects because some might
need to know.
Instead I would urge:
There are probably several good books available on growth and development
many of which probably minister to serious issues of sex and starting over,
of finding and getting the right woman or man as a covenanted mate or
partner in the sight of The Lord.
Your local Christian bookdealers with parents in tow to buy it for you is the best
way to go if you can tell them, which I suggest. Remember you are a gift to them
from God and it just might please Him and be His way for you to enter into the part
of your life that is learning about sex and when it will be proper for you.
Today just briefly things not meant for your life with God might be touched on
that thoughts of fellowship with might make be uncomfortable to you or religiously
out of range.
Just skip over such parts if you can and not let them warp your
experience to come in the Lord.
Note: Try to remember that sex or physical expression as I feel led to
call it can be a difficult subject for parents especially Christian parents which
yours are or you hope them to be with you.
Discomfort of their own upbringing and learning, desire to keep their child, boy
or girl, safe and their special baby might keep them from being enthusiastic.
They might even be down right fearful for you or others and opposed.
Still in The Bible if I read correctly parents presented their children to God.
It might be a good idea to let them present you when this need for growth arrives.
You might even by your example of trust be able to help your parents
with issues and concerns in their own lives they have if any.
As well many ministers are accessible and may have
resources they can put at your disposal to help you
perhaps even talking with your parents with you or
even for you.
If you are of age yet feel your experience level
makes advice appropriate for teens good for you start
there and still consider talking to your parents and
a minister.
Your kids and their bodies.
You, your kids and of the body sharing activities.
What do you want them to know.
To think,
to do, and with whom oftentimes.
And what if they're more ready for that than you are.
GOD.
Your Bible,
their Bible,
books appropriate movies/videos on sharing the body and sharing activities.
Try your local Christian BookStore
or ask if it may be ordered for you by them or a regular bookstore.
As we are have many authors who care even about their own sometimes a cute little non-direct approach to difficult kid matters may be a great resource for parents and their kids. |
